Hanley Hall open house

An Open House will be held on the Purdue University campus on Friday, Oct. 7, in celebration of the newly-constructed Bill and Sally Hanley Hall and the adjacent Fowler Memorial House, which has recently been renovated.

Together, the two buildings comprise the Human Development Institute (HDI), which integrates human development efforts across campus into contiguous space and provides an unprecedented opportunity to address the critical issues facing youth and families. In addition to the Department of Human Development and Families Studies, HDI houses the Military Family Research Institute, Center for Families and Center on Aging and the Life Course.

Hanley Hall replaced the previous Child Development and Family Studies building and was made possible in part by significant funding from Bill and Sally Hanley, who are Purdue alumni, Lilly Endowment Inc., and others.
