Civilian professionals gain military sensitivity

An exciting new MFRI collaboration helps civilian behavioral health providers better understand military culture, so that they can provide better services to military families.

Star Behavioral Health Providers (SBHP) is a partnership launched through the collaborative efforts of the Indiana National Guard, the Military Family Research Institute (MFRI), the Center for Deployment Psychology, the National Guard Bureau Psychological Health Program and the Indiana Family and Social Services Administration. Learn more about the program and its benefits from this video, produced by Michael Krieg of the Indiana National Guard, and at the SBHP website, where you can find out about upcoming training dates.
