Purdue University has been named one of the top-ranked schoolsf for veterans by U.S. News & World Report.
U.S. News ranked 311 qualifying schools numerically and in descending order based on their 2015 Best Colleges ranks. To be included in the ranking, the institution must:
- be a member of Servicemembers Opportunities Colleges Consortium
- be certified for the GI Bill
- participate in the Yellow Ribbon program, or a charges in-state tuition, which can be fully covered by the GI Bill, to all out-of-state veterans.
The insitution must also have been listed in U.S. News' 2015 Best Colleges rankings.
In addition to the Military Family Research Institute, Purdue support a number of military-focused enterprises, including scholarly research and Krannert School of Management's Entrepreneurship Bootcamp for Veterans.
