On Tuesday, July 1, MFRI assistant director Martina Sternberg joined Senator Joe Donnelly, Holly Petraeus, Indiana Attorney General Greg Zoeller, and others to discuss the predatory practices of financial institutions targeting military members, veterans, and their families. Senator Donnelly and the rest of the group learned more about the current issues with predatory practices, as well as what’s being done to combat those issues now, and moving forward.
Additional attendees included representatives from the American Red Cross as well as bank and financial experts. Sen. Donnelly’s office shared some photos from the event on his Twitter feed.
