Military or veterans couples who been separated from active duty 12 or fewer months are invited to participate in a free marital enrichment group held in Indianapolis.
Sponsored by Indiana Wesleyan University Graduate Counseling Clinic, the group will begin Thursday, Jan. 15 at 7 p.m. and run through Thursday, Feb. 19. Each session is 90 minutes long.
The group is designed to determine ways in which to ease the transition of military personnel and veterans from active duty to civilian life, according to clinic resources. While focusing on areas such as communication, relationship adjustment, conflict management and resilience, the group will concentrate on ways to improve satisfaction in the couple/marital relationship.
There is no charge to participate, and compensation will be provided for the completion of assessments.
