Warren Ponder, a combat infantryman who deployed to Operation:Induring Freedom (OIF) from July 3, 2006 to Sept. 18, 2007, seeks participants in a study that examines how couples communicate during a combat separation and the impact on stateside readjustment. Results from Ponder's study will be published in his dissertation.
If you are a GWOT vet with deployment experience who is currently in the same relationship as you were in during deployment, he would appreciate your participation. (Currently deployed service members are not eligible.)
Both veterans and significant others are encouraged to participate.
This study has been approved by the University of Texas at Arlington Institutional Review Board.
