Purdue Military Appreciation Week
November 3, 2014 - November 3, 2014
During the week of Nov. 3, Purdue University will honor military members, veterans and their families. The activities culminate on Saturday, Nov. 8 with the Military Appreciation Day football game vs. Wisconsin, where Boilermakers will recognize those who serve throughout gameday and around campus.
Join MFRI at the President's Council pre-game brunch, hosted by the University Development Office. Gather with other Purdue alumni and friends to show your spirit and learn a little more about what MFRI is up to. As a friend of MFRI, you can register for this exclusive President's Council event by contacting Karin Gillund at email@example.com.
In addition to Purdue’s Military Appreciation events, the wider community is stepping up to honor heroes. Beginning Nov. 10 and running through Nov. 14, the Tippecanoe County Military Resource Network, which is comprised of many community organizations, will hold their own Military and Veterans Appreciation Week. The week aims to honor our veterans, active duty, National Guardsmen and Reservists who so honorably serve our nation, as well as their families who have endured great sacrifices. In addition, more than 700 organizations throughout Indiana have offered discounts to military-affiliated families for the week and in some cases for the entire year.
