Family Readiness Groups (FRGs) provide an important support system for military families. Because of the diverse backgrounds and experiences of the members and leaders of an FRG, focused training and support can provide a framework and structure for managing the organizations and for running meetings.
The Military Family Research Institute at Purdue University is pleased to present the Leadership Training Series to help grow the support system for Indiana’s military families and to help volunteer leaders develop effective and important leadership skills. The Leadership Training Series is comprised of four individual training events. While FRG leaders are encouraged to sign up for any individual program which is of interest to them, the overall impact of the programs is increased when the series is completed in its entirety.
